Cretan Brioche had the pleasure to perform in a very unique venue, “The Golden Hinde” ship – YES, IN THE SHIP! The full-size reconstruction of the famous Elizabethan galleon… The first English ship to circumnavigate the Globe! Big thanks to everyone that joined us, we enjoyed it sooo much!
During the lockdown of 2020, we have been practising a few songs remotely. “Filedem” is one of them and here is a little glimpse of our arrangement, captured on video.
“Νανούρισμα της Μυρσίνης (Myrsini’s Lullaby)” is an original song by Cretan Brioche (lyrics: traditional / Vassilis Chatzimakris), recorded in London, in February of 2019.
Last month, we had the pleasure to play for a fantastic audience in one of the most unique venues imagined: an inspiring art studio, where sculptures and paintings are made. We wish happy birthday to our friends and hopefully meet soon again.
We are very excited to be invited to perform in Balabam, on Sunday the 24th of February.
Get ready for a night of Cretan traditional music combined with some original songs of ours.
Cretan Brioche comes back to the legendary Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden!
Come along and experience the Cretan Brioche vibes, where original songs are combined with traditional and more recent music from Crete, Cyprus and Greece! Yes, you can dance too!
Book your tickets in advance, as there is only limited space. Tickets: £7 online, or £10 on the door – cash only.
