Just came back from Lithuania and we miss it already.
Thanks to “Griežynė festival” and “Patrida”, we had the opportunity to visit new places, listen to authentic folk music and meet very nice people. Thank you all, it has been a unique experience that we will never forget.
On Wednesday the 5th of September, we will be playing Greek music for the Society of Greeks in Lithuania.
The event is hosted by “Patrida” and will be held in Miesto Laboratorija community centre, in Vilnius.
Thanks everyone for coming to the “Agents of now” fundraiser, to support the victims of the recent wildfires in Athens (GR).
Also, huge thanks to all that organised and hosted the event!
Cretan Brioche, on Wednesday the 19th of September, comes to the legendary Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden, for the first time in full band formation! Come along and experience the Cretan Brioche vibes, where original songs are combined with traditional and more recent music from Crete, Cyprus and Greece! Yes, you can dance too!
We are excited to announce a series of greek music nights at the Tailor Made Cafe, in Acton, hosted by Cretan Brioche.
Join us, every other Saturday evening for unplugged greek music!
Only a week after our “zygia” night, on Sunday the 18th of February 2018, Cretan Brioche return to the Life Goddess (Store street) to celebrate “Apokries” (Greek Carnival).
“Apokries” is the three week period before the Lent leading to Easter. The roots of the Greek Carnival are going back to the worship of Dionysos (God of wine, fun and fertility) and thus It is connected to wine, food and dance.
Join us for some traditional songs of “Apokries” and more Cretan music!
