Cretan Brioche had the pleasure to perform in a very unique venue, “The Golden Hinde” ship – YES, IN THE SHIP!  The full-size reconstruction of the famous Elizabethan galleon… The first English ship to circumnavigate the Globe!

Last month, we had the pleasure to play for a fantastic audience in one of the most unique venues imagined: an inspiring art studio, where sculptures and paintings are made.
We wish happy birthday to our friends and hopefully meet soon again.

The Wind That Shakes: Peran + Cretan Brioche

Vassilis (cretan lira) and Miltos (cretan lute), will be playing cretan music this Thursday (6/12) at Jam in a Jar, in a fundraising night of Greek music.

It is a free event, but donation buckets (a bodhrán) will be passed around to raise money for projects working for social justice on the ground in London and further afield.

The Wind That Shakes is in partnership with (and raising money for) The Music Room, a project facilitating workshops, spaces to practice and rehearse as well as providing instruments for musicians who have been forced to leave their home countries, The Wind That Shakes will also provide a space for these musicians to perform.
